About Amanda

Mrs. Rossettini is originally from Newport News, Virginia, graduating from Menchville High School. She earned her degree in Music Education from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Prior to being selected to come to Jolliff in 2001, Mrs. Rossettini taught at McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawai’I and Reservoir Middle School in Newport News, VA. The bands at Jolliff have consistently earned Superior and Excellent ratings at District Band Assessment, as well as in Musicale competitions. She is a member of the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association, Virginia Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education and plays flute in the Virginia Wind Symphony. Mrs. Rossettini lives in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake with her husband, Timothy, daughter, Hannah, and son, Davis.
