About Heather
Heather Smith received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from James Madison University in 2007 and her master’s degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. She has been teaching for 14 years, and currently teaches band at Great Neck Middle School in Virginia Beach, VA. She has been a member of the Virginia Wind Symphony since 2014 and also performs with the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church Orchestra.
